Nathan Rourke torched Hamilton for 370 yards and the Lions survived a late push to win 27-24.

The BC Lions improved to 3-5 with a home win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, who drop to 3-6 and stay stuck in the West… well, East basement race. BC led for most of the night behind a big passing day and never let Hamilton fully climb back, even as the Ticats made things interesting in the fourth quarter.

Box Score

Team

Q1

Q2

Q3

Q4

OT

Final

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

7

10

0

7

0

24

BC Lions

7

7

7

6

0

27

See full player stats and game details

Game Highlights

Top PerformersBC Lions

Nathan Rourke (QB) — 22/39, 370 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT

Justin Mcinnis (WR) — 5 rec, 159 yds, 1 TD

Jevon Cottoy (WR) — 7 rec, 109 yds

Zander Horvath (RB) — 16 att, 62 yds, 1 rush TD; 1 rec, 7 yds, 1 rec TD

Parker Mckenna (LB) — 7 tackles

Hamilton Tiger-CatsTeam Stats

Stat

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

BC Lions

Total Yards

265

447

Passing

20/33, 239 yds, 1 TD

22/39, 370 yds, 2 TD

Rushing

10 att, 26 yds, 2 TD

20 att, 77 yds, 1 TD

Turnovers

1

1

Quick Hits

Rourke and the Lions racked up 447 total yards, nearly 200 more than Hamilton managed despite the three-point final margin.

Dolegala came off the bench to punch in two short rushing touchdowns, doing the dirty work while Frost handled the passing load.

Cottoy quietly put up 7 catches for 109 yards without finding the end zone — a solid target-share game for anyone rostering him.

What’s Next

BC Lions (3-5) — at Calgary Stampeders, Week 11

Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-6) — host Saskatchewan Roughriders, Week 11

CFL Standings | Full Schedule | League Leaders

What’s your takeaway?
