Jacob Fatu could not beat Solo Sikoa and force Sikoa back into The Bloodline, but Jey Uso managed to at least take a step in that direction in the main event of Raw on Monday night. Uso challenged Sikoa to a match during the opening of the show, laying out the stipulation that Sikoa needed to accept being “delivered” to Roman Reigns should he lose to his older brother.<\/p>\n
It took the help of Jimmy Uso, but Jey was able to get the win with Sikoa set to be delivered to Reigns next week when Monday Night Raw emanates from Buffalo, New York, on Aug. 17.<\/p>\n

Bloodline drama ratchets up in main event<\/p>\n
Sikoa entered from the crowd at the top of the show. After briefly talking about his older brother, Jey interrupted him. The two exchanged some back-and-forth words, including Sikoa pointing out how everything Uso accomplished away from “the family” was wasted now that he’s fallen back in line. Jey laid out a challenge for a match, stipulating that he would “deliver” Solo to Roman if he won. Sikoa demanded that he be left alone should he emerge victorious. This upset Jacob Fatu, who later told Uso that he shouldn’t be “running his own plays.”<\/p>\n
Jey Uso def. Solo Sikoa via pinfall after a spear and Uso Splash. Jimmy interfered multiple times, eventually taking a Samoan Spike for his troubles. That distraction was enough, however, for Jey to prevail. The Usos celebrated after the match, saying, “He’s coming home,” while mocking Sikoa, who could only look on while laid out in the ring.<\/p>\n
Solo came across as a star in the opening promo, absolutely thrashing Jey on the microphone. One can only hope that Sikoa does not actually rejoin The Bloodline because the group doesn’t need him, and he has far too much momentum to just be lumped back into a storyline that is, to be honest, incredibly stale. We’ll know whether WWE makes that unforced error come next Monday night. Grade: B-<\/p>\n

Laredo Kid via pinfall after a Mexican Destroyer to advance to the tournament semifinals.Austin Theory def. Akira Tozawa via pinfall after hitting the Off Switch. Theory continued his attack after the match at Maxxine Dupri’s order, but Adam Pearce ran in with officials to take away a steel chair. As Bron Breakker, who had been staring and brooding the whole match, jumped in the ring to spear Tozawa, Oba Femi’s music hit. Femi dropped Theory with a big boot on his march to the ring. Breakker called Femi into the ring and then grinned as officials — and Logan Paul — held the two apart.Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer came face-to-face. The two exchanged words over who will take the women’s world championship off Liv Morgan. Morgan attempted a sneak attack on Lynch after Vaquer left, but Lynch quickly turned the tables.Dragon Lee def. Dominik Mysterio via pinfall with Operation Dragon. The match was set up when Mysterio confronted Rey Mysterio over not being in the No. 1 contender tournament. After the match, Big Cass took out Lee and then Je’Von Evans when Evans attempted to get revenge for Cass’ attack last week.Sol Ruca & Iyo Sky def. Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez via pinfall after Ruca hit Perez with a Sol Snatcher. Sky was Ruca’s mystery partner for the match.Bron Breakker confronted Paul Heyman, asking Heyman if he believes that Oba Femi is the future of WWE.
