VR on Linux has quite a number of sore spots but it seems Valve do continue to improve it, with the latest SteamVR Beta hopefully making it a lot nicer.<\/p>\n
SteamVR Beta version 2.17.7<\/a> just went out for testing, with Valve noting it has “Additional improvements to wired headset support on Linux (which previously required third-party add-on layers)” which is quite exciting to see!<\/p>\n Valve notes as well that to see the newer SteamVR UI, you also need to opt into the Steam Beta Client.<\/p>\n SteamVR version 2.17.7 Key changes<\/p>\n SteamVR:<\/p>\n
