The opening night game will be played on October 20, 2026 at Madison Square Garden. Since it is their first game back at MSG, this will also be a special night for the Knicks because they will have a championship banner ceremony.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Fireworks for sure. I mean they\u2019re going to be electric; they\u2019re going to be definitely a team to keep your eye on. They reloaded this year. It\u2019s going to be a tough test. But will be ready,” Brunson said about the opening night game on Today<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As the Knicks continue to have fun celebrating as champions, this will be the chance they lock back in. They now have targets on their backs, and it will be quite clear that there are opponents gunning for them. The 76ers are among them, and they might prove to be the most dangerous one with the addition of two superstars to pair with their core of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and VJ Edgecombe.<\/p>\n
