Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight prospect Mansur Abdul-Malik returns to action against Dustin Stoltzfus on the UFC 330<\/a> main card this weekend (Sat., Aug. 15, 2026) inside Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n Abdul-Malik is coming off the first loss of his professional career, suffering a third-round stoppage against Yousri Belgaroui in a brutal fight at UFC Seattle (watch highlights<\/a>).<\/p>\n The 28-year-old Las Vegas-based fighter initially felt the urge to change everything after the loss. However, once he took an honest look at his life, he realized there was not much away from the cage that needed fixing.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe early on after the fight happened, of course, the mental perspective makes you want to change everything\u2014change your lifestyle, change your habits,\u201d Abdul-Malik told reporters during UFC 330 media day. \u201cBut then I look at my lifestyle and habits, and I\u2019m like, \u2018What is there really to change?\u2019 I don\u2019t party, I don\u2019t drink, I don\u2019t go out and I don\u2019t have many friends, so it\u2019s like, what is there to change?<\/p>\n \u201cThe thing to change was to be myself,\u201d Abdul-Malik continued. \u201cI was going out there trying to be way too perfect, and there are a lot of flaws in trying to be perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n Instead of reinventing himself following his first defeat, Abdul-Malik wants to rediscover the aggressive, playful fighter who helped him emerge as one of the division\u2019s most intriguing prospects.<\/p>\n \u201cMy intention is to go out there and be me and fight like me,\u201d Abdul-Malik said. \u201cTo be aggressive, to be playful and have a smile on my face\u2014I felt like I was way too serious, if anything. But all those things are secondary. I lost to a fighter who was better than me. Period.
