The co-main event is just as intriguing, however.<\/p>\n<p>Mackenzie Dern is set to make the first defence of her strawweight title when she takes on Canadian finishing machine, <a href=\"https:\/\/mmasucka.com\/..\/..\/news\/gillian-robertson-confident-she-can-finish-mackenzie-dern-at-ufc-330\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gillian Robertson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We take a look at some of the props to watch in the <a href=\"https:\/\/mmasucka.com\/..\/..\/ufc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UFC<\/a> 330 co-main event.<\/p>\n<p>UFC 330 Co-Main Event Props to Watch<br \/>\nMackenzie Dern to win via decision +150<\/p>\n<p>The champion, Mackenzie Dern will head into Philadelphia full of confidence as she looks to welcome the first challenger to her belt. Having won the 115lbs back in October, Dern will look to return in a big way against Robertson.<\/p>\n<p>Of her 16 wins, she\u2019s never scored a knockout and has an equal number of submissions and decision victories at eight each. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/blobid0-9.webp\" width=\"602\" height=\"401\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Robertson has a great ground game, extremely good submission defence and, although she may be easy to take down (boasting just a 38% takedown defence), when she\u2019s on her back, she\u2019s able to fend off any submission attempts.<\/p>\n<p>Dern has more experience at the highest level and expect her to rise to the occasion when it comes to being the champion.<\/p>\n<p>The champion to retain via decision could be a good bet.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson to win via submission +1100<\/p>\n<p>She couldn\u2019t, could she? The challenger, Gillian Robertson, is a phenomenal talent, especially in the grappling realm. She is the owner of most finishes in women\u2019s flyweight history (7), of which six have come via submission. She\u2019s recorded a career total of nine submissions, tapping out plenty of recognisable names.<\/p>\n<p>She has also competed in plenty of submission grappling matches, notably submitting former champion, Rose Namajunas in 2022 via rear-naked choke.<\/p>\n<p>If Dern isn\u2019t careful on the ground, Robertson could lock up a submission, causing a huge upset in the process.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson via KO\/TKO +1200<\/p>\n<p>If Gillian Robertson doesn\u2019t get the submission, there\u2019s still a good chance she finishes it on the ground.
