How to get a Master Ball in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/p>\n

One Master Ball can be earned by reaching Trainer Level 70 in Pok\u00e9mon Go.<\/p>\n

Players who didn’t attend the Times Square event in July 2026 can earn a Master Ball via the 10th Anniversary Timed Research<\/a> quest. Just make sure you complete it before Sunday 6th September at 11:59pm (local time).<\/p>\n

The good news is that Master Balls stack, which means you can have more than one in your inventory at the same time. This means you can easily save your Master Balls for specific rare Pok\u00e9mon!<\/p>\n

The Master Ball is the best Pok\u00e9 Ball in the Pok\u00e9mon universe and it retains this status in Pok\u00e9mon Go. A Master Ball will always successfully catch a Pok\u00e9mon whether it\u2019s a Pidgey or a legendary Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Master Balls can be used on any Pok\u00e9mon you find in the wild, from winning a raid<\/a>, encounter by using Daily Adventure Incense<\/a> or spawn via Lure Modules<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I recommend saving your Master Ball for a rare Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, such as one of the Galarian legendary bird<\/a> variants found via Daily Adventure Incense who have high flee rates or a Pok\u00e9mon like Mesprit who are both regional and rarely appear in raids.
