SEOUL, Aug 15 \u2014 Blackpink\u2019s Lisa has issued a public apology to fans following widespread criticism over the group\u2019s 10th anniversary celebration, which many BLINKs described as poorly organised and unexpectedly modest for one of K\u2011pop\u2019s biggest global acts.<\/p>\n
In a message posted yesterday on a fan communication platform, Lisa acknowledged the disappointment surrounding the August\u00a08 event at the National Museum of Korea, saying she felt \u201csad\u201d about how the milestone unfolded and was \u201ctruly sorry\u201d to fans. \u201cIt was supposed to be a special moment and a time of celebration for all of us,\u201d she wrote, adding that she wanted to honor the group\u2019s connection with fans rather than justify what happened.<\/p>\n
The event \u2014 announced only two days in advance \u2014 invited just 40 fans and featured a short livestream of about 10 minutes, with the main program lasting roughly half an hour. Uncertainty over whether all four members would attend added to the frustration, though the full lineup ultimately appeared.<\/p>\n
The backlash prompted apologies from Jisoo and Ros\u00e9 earlier in the week. Jisoo said she felt \u201cespecially sorry\u201d on the anniversary, while Ros\u00e9 admitted she struggled to find the right words because she deeply understood fans\u2019 disappointment. With Lisa\u2019s statement, three members have now publicly addressed the issue.<\/p>\n
