Romero is the champion and the A-side, thanks to his big decision win over Ryan Garcia in May of 2025 on that less-than-thrilling Times Square card. Lopez enters fresh off a January loss to Shakur Stevenson, and moves up to welterweight here for the first time. No idea how to take this one\u2026 At his best, Lopez is an aggressive fighter, and Romero\u2019s best asset is his power, so there could be fireworks if the lads decide to really mix it up. But both have brought yawns in recent outings and they\u2019re also quite close as friends, which generally makes for a lousy fight. Fingers crossed, I suppose. It\u2019ll cost you $79.99 as a standalone PPV, if that\u2019s how you consume your big fights these days.<\/p>\n
