She won via sixth-round TKO, thus getting her the WBA and WBC unified middleweight world championship. Latto walked the GWOAT out for her fight, and this arrived amid viral comparisons between them. But the real story simmering beneath all of this is escalating beef with Remy Ma<\/a>, which Claressa and her boo Papoose<\/a> have been dealing with for a while.<\/p>\n

The Shade Room<\/a> on Instagram caught the video of Big Mama performing at State Farm Arena alongside the boxer and Pap, whereas Livebitez<\/a> caught Shields’ curious Facebook message before the fight. A fan had asked her what she’s drinking tonight, which she responded to cheekily: “Anything BUT REMY,<\/a> I’m thinking 1942!!!”<\/p>\n

Livebitez<\/a> also caught the femcee’s recent IG Story post which contributed to their beef heating up. Remy Ma’s new Claressa Shields and Papoose-dissing track “Wanna Go”<\/a> isn’t super direct, but fans read between the lines. It looks like the music video will also contribute to this. Remy teased the video’s inclusion of Alycia Baumgardner and Amanda Serrano, two female boxers who have clashed with Shields before. Also, Ma allegedly played the video and track outside of State Farm Arena last night to coincide with the fight and play some mind games.<\/p>\n

For those unaware, Remy Ma and Claressa Shields’ beef<\/a> stems from the latter dating Papoose amid his contentious divorce process with the former. Cheating allegations surfaced, many social media clashes ensued, and it’s clear the two are still trolling each other and trying to come out on top.<\/p>\n

While Claressa walked away with bragging rights last night, maybe Remy has a hit on her hands. Either way, it seems like neither is in a position to fully silence the other.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the recently viral Latto and Claressa Shields comparison<\/a> came courtesy of Charleston White last week. He claimed colorism while blasting fans defending the former’s relationship with 21 Savage<\/a> while scrutinizing Shields’ romance with Pap.
