\n\tEXCLUSIVE:\u00a0, the latest entry in Netflix<\/a>\u2018s action franchise starring Chris Hemsworth, has rounded out its cast with five additions: two-time Golden Globe nominee Pierce Brosnan<\/a> (MobLand), plus Don Lee<\/a> (Train to Busan), Joe Taslim<\/a> (The Furious), Chi Lewis-Parry<\/a> (28 Years Later: The Bone Temple) and Siena Agudong<\/a> (Amazon\u2019s upcoming\u00a0Carrie\u00a0series).<\/p>\n

\n\tLee joins after inking a deal to star in\u00a0Tygo, a Korean-language entry in the franchise centered on his former child soldier turned mercenary, which is in post-production.<\/p>\n

\n\tExtraction 3\u2018s logline is being kept under wraps, as are the roles of the other new hires. Pic is currently filming in Australia, with Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani co-starring alongside Hemsworth.<\/p>\n

\n\tHailing from the Russo Brothers\u2019 AGBO and Hemsworth\u2019s Wild State, the\u00a0Extraction\u00a0films are based on the graphic novel\u00a0Ciudad\u00a0from Ande Parks and illustrator Fernando Leon Gonzalez. They follow Hemsworth\u2019s Tyler Rake, an Australian mercenary taking on high stakes rescue missions the world over.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter directing the first two installments \u2014 both of which formerly held spots on Netflix\u2019s Most Popular Films list \u2014 Sam Hargrave is back at the helm, working from a script by David Weil, based on a story by Ande Parks, Joe Russo & Anthony Russo.<\/p>\n

\n\tProducers include Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco, and Ari Costa for AGBO; Hemsworth and Benjamin Grayson for Wild State; Hargrave; Patrick Newall; Eric Gitter; and Peter Schwerin. Shelby Malone and Steven V. Scavelli are exec producing.<\/p>\n

\n\tMost recently seen starring in Netflix\u2019s\u00a0The Thursday Murder Club\u00a0and Paramount+\u2019s hit crime drama\u00a0MobLand, heading into its third season, Brosnan is repped by CAA and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.<\/p>\n

\n\tBest known for roles in South Korean hits like\u00a0Train to Busan\u00a0and\u00a0The Gangster, the Cop, and the Devil, Lee is repped by Chris S. Lee at B&C Group, Gersh, and attorney Stuart Rosenthal of GGSSC.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tOne of the stars of the lauded Hong Kong actioner\u00a0The Furious, Taslim\u2019s other recent credits include the\u00a0Mortal Kombat\u00a0films and the crime drama series\u00a0Warrior. He is repped by CAA, Range Media Partners, and Brecheen Feldman Breimer.<\/p>\n

\n\tA former professional mixed martial artist, Lewis-Parry plays colossal antagonist Samson in Danny Boyle\u2019s recent zombie flick\u00a028 Years Later\u00a0and its sequel\u00a0The Bone Temple, helmed by Nia DaCosta. Other recent credits include\u00a0Gladiator II\u00a0and\u00a0The Running Man. He is repped by Wintersons and Vault Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\n\tAgudong stars in and exec produces the hit YA films in Tubi\u2019s\u00a0Sidelined\u00a0franchise and will be seen coming up in Amazon\u2019s series adaptation of Stephen King\u2019s\u00a0Carrie.
