If you\u2019ve seen celebrity stylist Law Roach as a reality-TV judge on shows like Legendary<\/a>, RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/a>, and Project Runway<\/a>, then you know he is not one to take the high road<\/a>. But he\u2019s turned over a new leaf. While on Ziwe\u2019s You\u2019d Be an Iconic Guest, he was asked about being petty, pointing to the fact that he won\u2019t dress Zendaya in brands that rejected her when she was up and coming. \u201cI think that there is an importance of being petty, but I\u2019ve outgrown my pettiness,\u201d Roach said in response. \u201cI think that holding grudges makes you ugly. So in my quest to become more beautiful, I\u2019ve released some of the grudges that I held.\u201d He then even added that \u201cI\u2019m actually wearing Saint Laurent right now.\u201d<\/p>\n The brands Roach avoided dressing Zendaya in for the red carpet are Saint Laurent, Dior, Valentino, Chanel, and Gucci. She has since dressed in Valentino, because she got a contract with the house, but the early days still affect Roach\u2019s relationship with the other four. \u201cI would write the big five,\u201d he explained on The Cutting Room Floor<\/a> podcast. \u201cAnd they would all say no \u2026 \u2018Try again next year, she\u2019s too green, she\u2019s not on our calendar.\u2019 I still have all the receipts.\u201d Maybe now that the pettiness is over that will change? Maybe not.
