During a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp <\/a>was asked directly if Thekla is planned to have a match at All In. Sapp said every time he\u2019s checked on her status, he\u2019s been told she is penciled in for the show \u2014 but nobody has given him the details.<\/p>\n\u201cEvery time I\u2019ve asked, I\u2019m told that she was penciled in for All In, but I\u2019ve never been given context as to what it is she\u2019s actually doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
That\u2019s where things get interesting. Thekla has been one of AEW\u2019s hotter names on television this year, yet there\u2019s still nothing official for her on one of the company\u2019s biggest shows. Sapp made it clear he thinks AEW needs to find something worthwhile for her rather than letting all that momentum go nowhere.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe got red hot on TV this year, and they need something valuable for her to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thekla\u2019s recent title loss also came up, with Sapp pointing out that AEW had plans involving Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mon\u00e9 in place for quite some time. From his perspective, getting the belt off Thekla felt like AEW was forcing the pieces into place for those plans.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know they had plans involving Willow and Mercedes for quite some time, but it definitely seemed forced to have Thekla lose the title.\u201d<\/p>\n
So the word behind the scenes is that Thekla has been in the All In plans, but exactly what AEW intends to do with her is still being kept quiet. With no match announced yet, fans may have to wait a little longer to find out where she fits into the show.<\/p>\n
