Williams announced the news ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix<\/a> and amid a difficult start to the season.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the Thai-British driver said: \u201cSince joining Atlassian Williams F1 Team in 2022, the transformation this team has made is difficult to put into words. One tough year doesn\u2019t tell the full picture, and it only gives me more motivation to keep building and pushing together with the factory and our fans to achieve great things.\u201cOur story is not over yet, so my full focus now is on doing whatever it takes to get us back up the grid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Max Verstappen has reportedly been offered a revised five-year contract by Red Bull.<\/p>\n

A revised contract offer has been touted by F1-Insider, who claim Red Bull are offering Verstappen a five-year deal, meaning he would stay with the Milton Keynes team until 2033. The exit clause seems to remain a sticking point, with Verstappen also reportedly favouring just a one-year extension to further assess his options.<\/p>\n

Anticipation is building at Aston Martin<\/a> around Honda\u2019s power unit upgrades at the Dutch Grand Prix. An engine upgrade is coming in Zandvoort for Aston, and the man in charge of delivering it, Honda\u2019s chief engineer Shintaro Orihara, isn\u2019t dampening expectations.<\/p>\n

In a press release ahead of the event, he commented: \u201cThe Dutch Grand Prix is \u200b\u200ba significant milestone for Honda, as it’s here that we’re introducing our new power unit specification. It’s the culmination of an intensive period of work at HRC Sakura, together with HRC UK and the Aston Martin team.<\/p>\n
