The Fever are pushing the tempo and filling the bucket at a frantic pace. Look for Indiana’s explosive offense to completely overwhelm the Sky to hammer the spread.<\/p>\n

The Indiana Fever will look to rebound from a two-game losing streak as they visit the Chicago Sky on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Indiana’s blistering offense will be too much for Chicago, and I’m taking the visitors to cover in my Fever vs. Sky predictions.<\/p>\n

The Indiana Fever<\/a> have the best offense in the WNBA, leading the league in scoring at 96.2 ppg. They’re also the best shooting team from the field (48.8%), rank second from three-point range (39.0%), and are\u00a0the league’s most efficient offense at 1.03 points per play<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Chicago Sky<\/a> aren’t great defensively (allowing 89.2 ppg), which is a problem in this matchup. I’m also concerned about their offense, as they are 11th in the league in offensive rating (104.8) and overall shooting (44.2%).<\/p>\n

I’m backing Indiana to cover at spread of up to 4.5 points.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Fever offense isn’t the only reason to expect lots of points tonight. By some pace metrics, these are the two quickest teams in the league, each averaging about 85 possessions per 40 minutes<\/a>. We’re going to see a lot of up and down action tonight, and I’m backing the Over.<\/p>\n

With all that scoring, Caitlin Clark<\/a> will have plenty of chances to help her Indiana teammates get buckets. Clark is averaging 8.2 assists per game for the season and has put up 9+ assists in five of her last seven games. The fast pace will make it easy for her to hit that target again tonight.<\/p>\n
