One of two regimental funerals took place on Saturday for Nicolae Serban.<\/p>\n

He and his colleague, Ramandeep Kaur Maan, died in a crash at the start of August.<\/a><\/p>\n

They were transporting an inmate, Keira Mooswa, from the Edmonton Institute for Women when the collision happened.<\/p>\n

Moosa was also killed.<\/p>\n

Roughly 200 people attended the funeral. Former co-workers, friends and dignitaries shared memories of Serban while honouring his name with kind words about his character.<\/p>\n

The regimental funeral for Maan is set to be held on Sunday.<\/p>\n
