After a 7 year absence, Nascar Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) is coming back to Clarington for the 2027 racing schedule.<\/p>\n
NCTS is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by Nascar.<\/p>\n
The series will be racing at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for tens of thousands of race fans from across Canada and the northern United States.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis news has the community excited and impatient. It\u2019s like hearing Christmas is coming but not until next year. We\u2019re going to have a hard time waiting for the 2027 Labour Day weekend,\u201d said Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster.<\/p>\n
He welcomed the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series crew back to Clarington and added that \u201cwe look forward to the<\/p>\n
