To support these urban makers, New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC)\u00a0revitalized the historic public building after decades of restricted access, creating productive workspaces designed to fuel local innovation alongside economic benchmarks \u2013 including a projected 165 permanent jobs and 2.6 billion USD in economic impact over 30 years. Designed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designboom.com\/tag\/narchitects\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">nARCHITECTS<\/a>, the MADE (Manufacturers, Artisans, Designers, and Entrepreneurs) campus provides 140,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 30,000 square feet of public event programming. Public Records, a multifaceted music venue that originated in Gowanus, Brooklyn will program the ground floor as a music driven community space. The MADE campus serves as a collaborative incubator where local talent, craft-based enterprises, and technical innovators work side by side, cultivating shared knowledge, sustainable practices, and long-term economic resilience. <\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2018At MADE: Bush Terminal, NYCEDC continues to bring together design, manufacturing, and artistic partners to expand opportunity for all New Yorkers.
