Perez Hilton suffered broken bones the night of his tragic suicide attempt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe cutting, a couple of falls that happened during this process,\u201d Tom, who is married to the blogger\u2019s sister,\u00a0Barbara Lavandeira, revealed on the \u201cPerez Hilton Podcast with Chris Booker\u201d<\/a> Monday.<\/p>\n

Tom shared that \u201cup until about 48 hours or so ago from this recording, [Hilton] was being treated for physical issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

The blogger\u2019s brother-in-law, Tom, shared that Hilton (seen above) had a \u201ccouple of falls that happened during this process.\u201d Perez Hilton\/ Youtube<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, we are now just transitioning into the mental side of things,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough, of course, while he\u2019s in the hospital, while he\u2019s being treated for his physical ailments, psychiatrists come in and check in and see how he\u2019s doing and make sure he\u2019s not looking to harm himself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom said the \u201cactual healing, or digging into what caused this mental break\u201d hasn\u2019t been discovered.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it will ever be,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

When asked if Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., remembered the Aug. 4 incident or understood what happened, the media personality\u2019s brother-in-law said he has dug into it because he doesn\u2019t \u201cwant to trigger any anxiety\u201d for him. <\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted him to really focus on his physical ailments \u2026 actual recovery of the lacerations and the bones,\u201d Tom shared.<\/p>\n

Tom said he hopes Hilton will be reunited with his three children,<\/a> Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8, soon \u201cwith the advice of psychiatric help.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, Hilton\u2019s sister, niece and his children fled his home<\/a> as the media personality began experiencing a severe mental health crisis.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Hilton\u2019s family said he remained hospitalized under Florida\u2019s Baker Act and that his \u201ccondition remains serious but stable.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe experienced significant blood loss and sustained additional injuries that will require surgery in the coming days,\u201d they said. \u201cHis treatment and recovery will be a long process.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to being treated for the cuts and broken bones, Hilton was also treated for an overdose<\/a> at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Last week, Hilton was granted supervised visitation with his three children<\/a>; however, the visits must be supervised by a therapist or a family member \u201cagreed upon by both sides.\u201d<\/p>\n
