After releasing a very bloody teaser<\/a> last week, Queens of the Stone Age<\/a> have properly announced their next album. Perfecth<\/a> arrives October 30 via Matador<\/a>, and a new single from the record, \u201cInsignificant Other,\u201d is out now. Check it out below.<\/p>\n

Recorded between New Orleans and Los Angeles, Perfecth is a purposefully imperfect flip on the word \u201cperfect,\u201d coined by frontman Josh Homme. \u201cNothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be \u2018perfecth\u2019,\u201d he said in a statement. “And that title is funny when you’re in a group, but it ain’t so funny when you’re alone.\u201d The band will bring the album to crowds this fall on an arena tour across Australia and Asia, after wrapping up a stint opening for the Foo Fighters next month.<\/p>\n

Queens of the Stone Age shared the first preview of Perfecth (and their first single in three years), \u201cEasy Street<\/a>,\u201d last month. They unveiled their last album, In Times New Roman\u2026<\/a>, back in 2023, and released a concert film<\/a> recorded in the Paris Catacombs in 2025. After undergoing emergency surgery<\/a> in 2024, Homme has kept busy as a solo artist, featuring on Shania Twain\u2019s \u201cFaded Blue Jeans\u201d and Mastodon\u2019s latest single.<\/p>\n
