Eberechi Eze\u2019s \u00a360million transfer from Crystal Palace<\/a> to Arsenal<\/a> could be confirmed as early as this weekend, the PA news agency understands.<\/p>\n It is believed the finishing touches on a deal to sign the 27-year-old, which catapults Arsenal\u2019s spending to beyond \u00a3250m, are all but completed.<\/p>\n Palace boss Oliver Glasner<\/a> revealed Eze, who was missing from his squad for their Conference League<\/a> play-off at Selhurst Park, rang his manager on Thursday morning to say he could not play.<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly I expected that he will start today for us, but he called me this morning and said he doesn\u2019t feel well to play in the evening, and of course I have to accept it, and everything else you have to ask the chairman,\u201d said Glasner, speaking to Channel 5 ahead of their meeting with Fredrikstad \u2013 the\u00a0 Eagles\u2019 first ever European tie.<\/p>\n \u201cI have to accept it.
