{"id":871619,"date":"2026-08-26T02:44:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T02:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/871619\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T02:44:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T02:44:17","slug":"lmc-bc-blasters-grand-award-ceremony-in-surrey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/871619\/","title":{"rendered":"LMC BC Blasters grand award ceremony in Surrey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/voiceonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/CR1.jpg\" data-caption=\"All photos by JAY SHARMA of Mahi Photo Studio.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"216\" class=\"entry-thumb td-modal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/CR1-696x216.jpg\"   alt=\"\" title=\"CR1\"\/><\/a>All photos by JAY SHARMA of Mahi Photo Studio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IN only four years, the cricket programming by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.inclusivecanada.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Inclusive Canada Foundation (ICF)<\/a> has generated\u00a0more than 1,700 registrations in British Columbia, while expanding from adult recreational cricket into\u00a0youth and U17 programming, university and college cricket, newcomer and refugee initiatives, and Last Woman Stands programming for women and girls.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its developing women\u2019s program now includes approximately\u00a030\u201335 women and girls, with roughly half under 17, while its Youth, University and College League is also continuing toward its September championship activities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lastmanstands.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Last Man Stands and Last Woman Stands<\/a>\u00a0are flagship sport initiatives of Inclusive Canada Foundation, whose broader work focuses on building inclusive communities through sport, education, health and culture.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/emrulhasan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Dr. Emrul Hasan<\/a>, President of Inclusive Canada Foundation, is also a faculty member at the University of British Columbia (UBC).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, August 24, \u00a0Inclusive Canada Foundation held the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DcW7EkoAfLk\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">LMS BC Blasters Finals &amp; Grand Award Ceremony<\/a>, at Newton Athletic Park in Surrey. There were a host of dignitaries present.
