And Tszyu, 28, who is now 12-0-1, was brutally honest when asked about his thoughts on the decision, shockingly claiming he felt Mahoney did enough to get his hand raised.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI gave the fight to Ben, honestly.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was one tough fight. I knew it was going to be like that. I gave him maybe one or two rounds more, but I can\u2019t be a judge right now.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a close fight, but I thought maybe he edged it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Moments later, promoter George Rose was booed as he gave his opinion on the fight \u2014 and the fans\u2019 jeering clearly got to him as he fired back at the crowd.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cI thought it was a rightful draw. I\u2019ll keep my composure because I want to slap the s*** out of somebody if youse keep going. It\u2019s annoying the f*** out of me.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t like cheeky people. I\u2019ve not got time for that.\u201d<\/p>\n
He then went on to add: \u201cAnybody who wants to boo me, meet me out the front and we\u2019ll sort it out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gold Coast fighter Mahoney, who had the support of the crowd and is now 17-0-2, said: \u201cI do believe I won that fight. I think I had that fight. All respect to Nikita, he\u2019s a f***ing warrior.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nikita\u2019s performance came hours after brother Tim appeared to aim a subtle dig at him on social media.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old, three years Nikita\u2019s senior, posted on Instagram about four of the fighters on his sibling\u2019s undercard, but did not mention his namesake.<\/p>\n
The message read: \u201cGood luck to the boys fighting.<\/p>\n
\u201cKeen to watch Koen (Mazoudier), Kira (Ruston), Callum (Peters) and (Blake) Wells!\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Tim did share a picture of his brother on the TV and the message: \u201cLet\u2019s go,\u201d before he also posted after the bout: \u201cMad slugfest for Australian boxing fans. Well done to both boys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in April, it was confirmed the brothers\u2019 relationship had turned heated.<\/p>\n
The pair have supported each other throughout their boxing careers to date \u2014 until Nikita was nowhere to be seen at Tim\u2019s Easter weekend bout with Nurja.<\/p>\n
Nikita, 28, explained he was absent from the fight due to illness, a comment that was laughed off by Tim.<\/p>\n
He responded to a video of Nikita\u2019s explanation with two laughing emojis.<\/p>\n
Nikita was in attendance for Tim\u2019s win over Errol Spence Jr last month, but was conspicuously spotted at the back of the team photos during the celebrations.<\/p>\n
The pair have not revealed the reason behind their feud, but it has been reported the animosity surrounds Tim\u2019s acrimonious split from manager Glen Jennings.<\/p>\n
