Samsung acknowledged the problem and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/samsung-reveals-when-galaxy-s26-ultra-display-red-tint-fix-update-will-arrive\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> it would fix it with a software update this month. Now, the brand appears to have finally addressed the issue.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few moments ago, Samsung <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/galaxy-s26-s26-s26-ultra-get-august-2026-security-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">released<\/a> a software update for the Galaxy S26 series in its home country, South Korea, that brings the August 2026 security patch. It looks like the new firmware also includes a fix for the red tint issue affecting the Galaxy S26 Ultra\u2019s display.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samsung has <a href=\"https:\/\/r1.community.samsung.com\/t5\/%EA%B0%A4%EB%9F%AD%EC%8B%9C-s\/%EB%93%9C%EB%94%94%EC%96%B4%EB%B2%88%EC%9D%B8%EC%97%85%EB%8D%B0%EC%9D%B4%ED%8A%B8-%EB%96%B4%EC%8A%B5%EB%8B%88%EB%8B%A4s26%EC%9A%B8%ED%8A%B8%EB%9D%BC\/td-p\/39226612?lightbox-message-images-39226612=12249663iBF3F96A9145280A1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">issued a notice <\/a>in the Samsung Members app in South Korea stating that it will fix the Galaxy S26 Ultra\u2019s display red tint issue with a software update that it will roll out today.\u00a0We assume Samsung is referring to the update that it has already released, which brings the August 2026 security patch.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our assumption is based on the fact that Samsung typically doesn\u2019t release two separate software updates for the same device on the same day, especially when both address issues that could be handled in a single update.
