Harry Styles<\/a> has kicked off his landmark 30-night residency at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden, and played a tribute to Dolly Parton<\/a>. Check out footage and the full setlist below.<\/p>\n

The dates come as part of the singer\u2019s ongoing \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour<\/a>, which has so far seen him play a record-breaking 12 shows at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium<\/a>, as well as dates in Amsterdam, S\u00e3o Paulo and Mexico City.<\/p>\n

Now, he is across the pond for an impressive 30 nights at New York\u2019s iconic Madison Square Garden venue<\/a>, which kicked off last night (Wednesday August 26).<\/p>\n

The 30 shows mark the final dates planned on this leg of the tour, and conclude with a \u201cHarryween\u201d show on October 31, before more dates in Melbourne and Sydney in December.<\/p>\n

At the first MSG show last night, Styles kicked things off with \u2018Dance No More\u2019 for the first time as a setlist opener, before playing \u2018Carolina\u2019 live for the first time. Other debuts on the night included \u2018Cinema\u2019, \u2018Kiwi\u2019, and \u2018Satelitte\u2019 \u2013 the latter of which had only been played in part prior. Fan favourites \u2018Music for a Sushi Restaurant\u2019 and \u2018Watermelon Sugar\u2019 also came earlier in the 21-song setlist.<\/p>\n

From there, songs on the setlist included \u2018Sweet Creature\u2019, \u2018Waiting Game\u2019, \u2018Are You Listening Yet?\u2019, \u2018Ready Set Go\u2019, \u2018Pop\u2019 and more, before some of his biggest hits came at the end of the setlist, including \u2018American Girls\u2019, \u2018As It Was\u2019, \u2018Sign of the Times\u2019 and \u2018Aperture\u2019.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of his show, he also took time to share his gratitude for \u201call the musicians who inspire me\u201d, including the late Dolly Parton, who died on Tuesday<\/a> (August 25) after a \u201cbrief battle with cancer\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cDolly, we love you, thank you so much,\u201d he shared, before playing her 1974 hit \u2018I Will Always Love You\u2019 over the speakers, encouraging fans to hold up their phone torches.<\/p>\n

The Madison Square Garden shows continue tomorrow night (Friday August 28), and run through to the end of October.<\/p>\n

Support for his tour has come from Robyn<\/a>, Shania Twain<\/a>, Jamie xx<\/a>, Jorja Smith<\/a>, Foushe\u00e9<\/a>, Fcukers<\/a> and Skye Newman<\/a>, and his Wembley residency also saw him pay tribute to David Hockney, reflect on his One Direction days<\/a>, cover \u2018Three Lions\u2019<\/a>, and wildly celebrate England\u2019s World Cup win against DR Congo <\/a>after showing the game on the stadium\u2019s big screens.<\/p>\n

He closed the London run with an onstage appearance from his sister Gemma and a Pride celebration<\/a>. Styles was later officially recognised by Guinness World Records for his history-making Wembley Stadium residency<\/a>, and has been given a gold Blue Peter badge in acknowledgement of the feat<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NME caught the \u2018Together, Together\u2019 tour in Amsterdam in May, giving the show a glowing five-star review<\/a>. It hailed the performance as \u201ca hopeful celebration of community and connection\u201d.<\/p>\n

Dates come in support of his fourth solo album, \u2018Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally\u2019<\/a>, which was released in March. He launched the record with a \u2018One Night Only\u2019 show in Manchester<\/a> earlier this year, filming the performance for a Netflix special<\/a>.<\/p>\n
