Alana also spoke about how this fight came together, her training camp for the matchup and how she\u2019ll be making history once she steps foot in the cage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m the first Canadian woman (to make her OKTAGON debut), and they\u2019ve only ever had four Canadians on the card. I\u2019m the fifth Canadian ever and the first Indigenous woman, so that\u2019s very exciting. I have to give a big thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/suckerpunchent.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">SuckerPunch<\/a>, my management, for making this happen. I don\u2019t want to wait around for something like DWCS\u2014I want to go where the opportunities are.
