Saturday is the final day to waive a player and stretch out his guaranteed salary over multiple seasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In order to sign newly acquired forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/jonathan-kuminga\/1271708\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nba\/player\/jonathan-kuminga\/1271708\" target=\"_blank\">Jonathan Kuminga<\/a> using the taxpayer midlevel exception, the Timberwolves discussed multiple trade scenarios for Green.
