Photo: Karen Longwell<\/p>\n<p>Craig\u2019s Cookies officially opens this weekend in Mississauga.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian chain founded by Craig Pike features fresh-baked cookies in unique flavours. The first brick-and-mortar shop opened in Toronto\u2019s Parkdale neighbourhood in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The new Mississauga shop, at 102 Lakeshore Rd. E., east of Elizabeth Street in Port Credit, celebrates its grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 29.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so excited for you to finally enjoy our decadent creations!\u2060\u201d Craig\u2019s posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>The store opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the first 100 customers will get a free classic cookie.<\/p>\n<p>This is Craig\u2019s Cookies\u2019 25th location and first shop in Mississauga, Peggy Lo, director of marketing for Craig\u2019s Cookies, told INsauga.com<\/p>\n<p>The Port Credit store is owned and operated by new franchisee Imtiaz Hussain Bhatti.<\/p>\n<p>Bhatti lives in Oakville with his family, wife Asma Safdar and two children. He also has a sweet tooth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love cookies,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The thick cookies come in flavours such as Bueno, Toblerone, Pop Tart and Pecan Butter Tart. The company uses all Canadian ingredients, and cookies are baked fresh, said Lo.
