India,\u201d a title that has continued to resonate with audiences years after its 2007 release. \u201cCaptain India\u201d is produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/t-series\/\" id=\"auto-tag_t-series\" data-tag=\"t-series\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">T-Series<\/a>\u2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/bhushan-kumar\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bhushan-kumar\" data-tag=\"bhushan-kumar\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bhushan Kumar<\/a> and Baweja Studios, alongside Dopamine Studios, with S.B. Films handling production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cCaptain India\u201d draws on India\u2019s real-life evacuation of citizens from a war-torn country.  The screenplay is written by Nash Vazifdar, Sanchit Gupta and Priyadarshee Shrivastava. An ensemble cast is expected to join Aaryan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAaryan most recently starred in \u201cTu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri\u201d and \u201cBhool Bhulaiyaa 3,\u201d and has \u201cNaagzilla\u201d and other projects currently in the pipeline. Amin, meanwhile, is best known for directing \u201cChak De! India\u201d and \u201cRocket Singh: Salesman of the Year\u201d (2009), both for Yash Raj Films, and has largely stayed away from feature directing in the years since. He directed an episode of BBC\/Netflix\u2019s \u201cA Suitable Boy\u201d (2020). <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tA film titled \u201cCaptain India\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2021\/film\/news\/kartik-aryan-captain-india-hansal-mehta-ronnie-screwvala-1235025393\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was first announced in 2021<\/a>, with Hansal Mehta attached to direct for RSVP\u2019s Ronnie Screwvala and Baweja Studios\u2019 Harman Baweja, who also wrote that version of the script, and Aaryan set to play a pilot involved in the rescue mission.
