The 25-year-old had needed only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lowkickmma.com\/bilal-hasan-tkos-indias-mridul-saikia-in-just-45-seconds-then-moonwalks-across-the-canvas-dana-whites-contender-series-season-10-week-1-results\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">45 seconds to stop Mridul Saikia<\/a> and preserve his unbeaten record, earning himself an immediate UFC opportunity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his promotional debut, Hasan was matched with undefeated Peruvian prospect Rojas at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ufc.com\/news\/ufc-shanghai-results-nurmagomedov-vs-song\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">UFC Shanghai<\/a>, setting up a clash between two fighters who had never tasted professional defeat.<\/p>\n<p>Bilal Hasan Flattens Nilson Rojas With Picture-Perfect Right Hand At UFC Shanghai<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bilal Hasan immediately went to work with his kicks, mixing attacks to the head and body while using his speed to keep Rojas uncomfortable. A hard body shot appeared to hurt Nilson Rojas, but the Peruvian recovered and continued marching forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two minutes into the opening round, \u201cThe IndoNinja\u201d changed levels and secured a takedown, forcing Rojas to work from his back. Hasan briefly took the back and looked for an opening while Rojas scrambled desperately to escape. After eventually getting free, \u201cEl Rayo\u201d returned to his feet and the pair traded in a series of fast-paced exchanges before the bell.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second round, however, belonged entirely to Hasan. As Rojas leaned forward, \u201cThe IndoNinja\u201d unleashed a fully extended straight right that landed flush on the jaw, sending him crashing to the canvas.
