Sanirajak&#8217;s last bowhead hunt was in 2020, and Iqaluit&#8217;s was in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Nuyalia, with the Amaruq Hunters and Trappers Association in Iqaluit, said the hunt creates a feeling of pride and independence.
