Congrats are in order for actor Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, after the couple announced they adopted a baby girl. <\/p>\n

The \u201cStranger Things\u201d star, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, shared the big news Thursday in a joint Instagram <\/a>post. <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,\u201d they wrote, alongside an illustration of a tree. \u201cWe are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then there were 3,\u201d they continued, before adding, \u201cLove, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.\u201d<\/p>\n

HuffPost has reached out to Brown\u2019s reps for comment. <\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s new addition to their family comes after they wed in a private ceremony in May 2024. Brown and Bongiovi followed up the ceremony with a second wedding in Tuscany, Italy, in September 2024.<\/p>\n

Brown previously gushed about her desire to start a family with Bongiovi while appearing on the \u201cSmartLess\u201d podcast<\/a> in March. <\/p>\n

\u201cJake knows how important it is to me, and of course I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it\u2019s so important to start a family,\u201d she told hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. \u201cFor me personally, like, it\u2019s a huge thing.\u201d <\/p>\n

The \u201cEnola Holmes\u201d star went on to declare that becoming parents was an established part of the plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake was like, \u2018We cannot do that until we get married,\u2019 so that was his thing, and my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m one of four. He\u2019s one of four, so it is definitely in our future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, the British actor opened up about her thoughts on adoption. <\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting,\u201d she said. \u201cFor me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I \u2014 our energy in the house is like, \u2018The door is always open.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
