A source told People<\/a> that the exes spent time together in Costa Rica with their daughter last month in an attempt to reconnect away from all of those feuds<\/a> and Sydney Sweeney dating rumors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir Costa Rica trip wasn\u2019t about rekindling a romance so much as it was about rebuilding trust,\u201d the source said. \u201cFor the first time in a long while, they felt like good friends again. They have a solid understanding now.\u201d They still appear to be broken up, but Fox is apparently \u201cnot closing the door for good on a relationship.\u201d The source says that \u201cMegan and Colson are focused on whether this evolving connection can truly last beyond just co-parenting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, MGK appeared on Today With Jenna and Friends<\/a> and spoke about his parenting journey. \u201cI want to detract all of the congrats to me and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work,\u201d he said. \u201cSomeone the other day was like, you\u2019re such a good dad! just because I was holding the baby. And she was fuming, like, no, no, no, no. She\u2019s the one. I just play the guitar and pray that the baby is happy.\u201d Maybe someone should remind him what co-parenting means.<\/p>\n
