Changes are coming soon to over a dozen Brampton Transit bus routes that the city says will improve reliability heading into fall.<\/p>\n
The service adjustments start as of Sept. 8, with updated schedules, operational changes and improved service reliability on some routes to better meet ridership demand, the City of Brampton says.<\/p>\n
Last year saw a 13 per cent drop in Brampton Transit revenues, leading to significant route changes and updates in 2026. Several routes were suspended in April due to low ridership.<\/p>\n
City numbers show that transit users declined by 20 per cent in 2025 from the previous year, and that lost revenue has amounted to $26 million.<\/p>\n
Here are all the upcoming changes to Brampton Transit bus routes starting on Sept. 8.<\/p>\n
Weekday schedules have been adjusted to improve service reliability on the following routes:<\/p>\n
501 Z\u00fcm Queen.
\n511\/511C Z\u00fcm Steeles.
\n7\/7A Kennedy.
\n14\/14A Torbram.
\n18 Dixie.<\/p>\n
Saturday schedules on the following routes have been adjusted to improve service reliability:<\/p>\n
505 Z\u00fcm Bovaird.
\n5\/5A Bovaird.
\n18 Dixie.
\n23 Sandalwood.<\/p>\n
Sunday schedules have been adjusted on 18 Dixie to improve service reliability.<\/p>\n
30 Airport Road (Caledon Trips): Weekday trip arriving at National Logistics Services (NLS) will be adjusted to arrive at 7:17 a.m. and depart at 7:18 a.m.
\nService on 199 UTM Express and 200 Series Secondary School Specials will resume on Sept. 8.<\/p>\n
