Javaunie Thomas, an 18-year-old man from Toronto, and a 16-year-old young person from Toronto, were each charged with attempted murder using a firearm, aggravated assault, robbery, disguise with intent, discharge of a firearm with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, and failing to comply with a sentence or disposition.<\/p>\n

Under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identity of the 16-year-old accused is protected and cannot be released.<\/p>\n
Both accused were held for bail hearings and remain in custody.<\/p>\n
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue efforts to identify and locate two outstanding suspects.<\/p>\n
One suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately six feet tall with a heavy build, who was armed with a handgun. The second outstanding suspect was the driver of the getaway vehicle. No description of this suspect is available.<\/p>\n
