Prince Harry is reportedly planning to make a movie about his late mother, Princess Diana \u2014 and Prince William is not happy about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the reasons Harry [returned to the United Kingdom<\/a>] is to make a television film, his own film, about his mother,\u201d the Daily Mail claimed<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n Daily Mail\u2019s Senior Editor-at-Large Richard Kay alleged the Duke of Sussex, 41, \u201chas been reaching out to his friends and others who knew\u201d his mom, who died in August 1997<\/a> at 36, and \u201casking them to contribute.\u201d<\/p>\n Prince Harry (pictured above in July 1986) is reportedly planning to make a movie about his late mother, Princess Diana \u2014 to brother Prince William\u2019s frustration. Getty Images<\/p>\n The royal expert noted, \u201cLet\u2019s not\u00a0forget\u00a0who Harry spent time with when he was here in July<\/a>, it was Diana\u2019s family at Althorp.\u201d<\/p>\n The alleged project, which will \u201coccupy a lot of [Harry\u2019s] headspace over the next 12 months,\u201d has left William, 44, with \u201cintense frustration,\u201d per Kay.<\/p>\n He noted that Harry and William were \u201clast really in step\u201d when they worked together on the \u201cDiana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy\u201d documentary<\/a> in 2017.<\/p>\n However, Harry\u2019s plans for another movie will \u201cthrow up that old canard\u201d with \u201cpeople always link[ing] Harry to Diana,\u201d Kay predicted.<\/p>\n The former military pilot (pictured above in September 1995) has been \u201casking [people] to contribute.\u201d WireImage<\/p>\n This has led to \u201cintense frustration\u201d on William\u2019s part, per the outlet.
