PRINCE GEORGE\u00a0\u2014 Nearly 13 first responders and community riders in Northern B.C. will begin a seven-day, 850-kilometre cycling journey in just over a week\u2019s time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cops for Cancer Tour de North will begin in Fort St. John on Sept. 11 and wrap up in Williams Lake on Sept. 17.\u00a0<\/p>\n

RCMP say the riders will visit multiple communities and schools to help raise funds for childhood cancer research and support programs. This year, Tour de North\u2019s funds will go to Camp Goodtimes<\/a>, a service from the Canadian Cancer Society that offers year-round recreational programs for campers dealing with cancer with no cost to the participating families.\u00a0<\/p>\n
