Police have closed part of a highway north of Brampton following a crash between multiple vehicles.<\/p>\n
The crash happened around 1 p.m. on Highway 10 in the area of Olde Base Line Road in the Inglewood community of Caledon, the OPP Central Division said on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Police say emergency crews are on scene following a collision \u201cinvolving multiple passenger vehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n
Occupants of the vehicles were assessed at the scene, and police say no life-threatening injuries have been reported. A spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed to INsauga.com that emergency medical services were notified of the crash, but that no ambulance was required.<\/p>\n
The OPP have closed the southbound lanes of Highway 10 at Olde Base Line Road, while the northbound lanes remain open to traffic.<\/p>\n
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area, and should expect delays while emergency crews are on the scene.<\/p>\n
