Region of Peel \u2013 Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have arrested one individual and are seeking the public\u2019s assistance in identifying an outstanding suspect following a stabbing incident in Mississauga.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, August 29, at approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to the area of Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road for reports of a disturbance in a parking lot.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, officers located two adult men suffering from stab wounds following a reported parking dispute. Both victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries and are now in stable condition.<\/p>\n
Officers searched the area and quickly located one of the suspects without incident. Ali Halimi, a 30\u2011year\u2011old man from Mississauga, was arrested and charged with Assault.<\/p>\n
A second male suspect, believed to have stabbed the victims and to be in possession of the knife, remains outstanding and is wanted for Attempted Murder:<\/p>\n
He is described as Middle Eastern, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, medium complexion, thinning brown hair, and an unshaven appearance.
\nHe was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, a black cross\u2011body bag, and white and grey Air Jordan shoes with a black logo. Please see the attached photo of the suspect during the incident.<\/p>\n
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.<\/p>\n
