STATE COLLEGE, Pa. \u2013\u00a0Penn\u00a0women’s golf begins its fall portion of the 2026-27 season on Monday as the Quakers travel to State College, Pa.\u00a0for the Nittany Lion Invitational. Penn State is hosting the Nittany Lion Invitational on Monday, Sept. 7 and Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the Penn State Blue Course. Penn will bring the whole team to the tournament, with five members competing in the lineup and three as individuals.<\/p>\n

\nWHAT TO KNOW
\n-Monday’s lineup will be Mi Li<\/a>, Adrienne Ahn-Upton<\/a>, Claire Lu<\/a>, Madeleine Zang<\/a> and Juliet Oh<\/a>.
\n–Maggie Ni<\/a>, Chelsea Nguyen<\/a> and Sophia Lu<\/a> will compete as individuals.
\n-Pennsylvania sophomore\u00a0Mi Li<\/a><\/a>\u00a0was a unanimous selection as first-team All-Ivy by the conference coaches in 2025-26. She also made the Ivy League All-Championship Team last spring.
\n-Penn finished fourth at the Ivy League Championships a year ago.
\n-The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced its All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 academic year, and the list featured three University of Pennsylvania players: rising senior\u00a0Maggie Ni<\/a><\/a>, rising junior\u00a0Claire Lu<\/a><\/a>, and rising sophomore\u00a0Adrienne Ahn-Upton<\/a><\/a>.
\n-The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and include a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50. A total of 1,551 women’s collegiate golfers across 403 NCAA and NAIA programs were recognized with this prestigious honor.
