Teens from Oshawa and Sudbury face attempted murder charges in connection with a Brampton shooting.<\/p>\n
A man was shot multiple times in the Dawnridge Trail and Clifton Court area of Brampton in the evening of Oct. 19, 2025, Peel Regional Police said.<\/p>\n
He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.<\/p>\n
Today, police said two male teens were charged in connection with the shooting.<\/p>\n
Lavontae Bowleg, a 19-year-old man from Sudbury, and a male from Oshawa who was 17 years old at the time of the offence, are charged with aggravated assault, attempted murder using a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, discharge firearm with intent and other firearm charges.<\/p>\n
The 17-year-old can not be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.<\/p>\n
Both accused have been held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.<\/p>\n
