An assault victim has died of injuries sustained in Bolton.<\/p>\n
Emergency crews responded to a report of an assault outside a business near the intersection of King Street West and Queen Street North in Bolton just after 8 p.m. on Aug. 24, the Ontario Provincial Police said.<\/p>\n
The victim, identified as Oleksandr Grabyn, 54, of Bolton, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, the OPP said.<\/p>\n
Grabyn died on Sunday, Aug. 30, police said.<\/p>\n
Police have charged one person in connection with the death.<\/p>\n
Oleh Milchenko, 32, of Etobicoke, who was charged with aggravated assault, now faces a manslaughter charge.<\/p>\n
The Caledon OPP Crime Unit is conducting the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. OPP Forensic Identification Services is providing assistance.<\/p>\n
