\n\tThe Seton Hall men’s soccer team headed down to Yurack Field is Piscataway, New Jersey, to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (1-2-1) in the latest edition of the Garden State Derby.
\n\tThe two sides battled to a halftime stalemate, reaching the midpoint with three shots and two saves each. Mere minutes into the second half, the Pirates drew a penalty kick and looked to take the lead. In an act of redemption for his first career miss last weekend, Til Kauschke<\/a> drilled the ball into the bottom right corner to give Seton Hall a 1-0 lead. As the half wore on and the tension rocketed up, the Pirates’ defense stepped up when it was needed most. Amid a flurry of shots in the final ten minutes, goalkeeper Devin Armstrong<\/a> made two key saves to preserve The Hall’s second win of the season.

\n\tThe two sides met last season in Bethlehem in a match that saw The Hall take a decisive 5-1 victory.
