Region of Peel \u2013 Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau (CRB) are investigating a series of attempted carjackings that occurred on Sunday, September 6, near Clockwork Drive and Creditview Road in Brampton.<\/p>\n
At approximately 10:00 p.m., the suspect attempted to carjack a vehicle with the owner seated inside. During the incident, the suspect stabbed the victim before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was transported to a local trauma center where they were treated for non life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The suspect then attended a nearby residence where he kicked in the front door and made demands for vehicle keys. He was unsuccessful and fled the residence.<\/p>\n
The suspect then attempted to carjack two additional vehicles in the area without success before fleeing on foot. None of these victims were injured during the attempts.<\/p>\n
The suspect is described as a South Asian male, 25 to 30 years old, with a slim build and a possible tattoo on his neck. At the time of the offences, he was wearing a grey sweater, light-coloured pants, black Crocs, a blue and white Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, and a black messenger-style bag over his shoulder.<\/p>\n
The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, members of the public are advised not to approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.<\/p>\n
