Carson Hocevar<\/a> has responded to Denny Hamlin\u2019s<\/a> latest criticism after a tense NASCAR Cup Series weekend at Darlington Raceway. Hamlin took aim at Hocevar\u2019s driving and then turned his attention to Spire Motorsports during Monday\u2019s Actions Detrimental podcast.<\/p>\n The Joe Gibbs Racing driver said there were \u201cno adults in the room\u201d at Spire and called the organization \u201cunserious.\u201d Hocevar did not answer with a direct attack on Hamlin. Instead, Hocevar\u2019s message<\/a> focused on the fans who continue to support Spire Motorsports despite criticism.<\/p>\n The exchange followed Hocevar\u2019s contact with Brad Keselowski during the Cook Out Southern 500, which sent Keselowski into the wall. It added another chapter to a NASCAR weekend that already featured several incidents involving Hamlin, Hocevar and Spire Motorsports.<\/p>\n Carson Hocevar Responds to Denny Hamlin Criticism<\/p>\n Denny Hamlin was asked about the Carson Hocevar incident with Brad Keselowski on Sunday\u2019s Actions Detrimental podcast. Hamlin did not spend much time discussing the 23-year-old driver himself.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no adults in the room, clearly, in that building,\u201d Hamlin said. \u201cNo adults. That\u2019s my opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n Hamlin also said, \u201cI think they\u2019re unserious.\u201d<\/p>\n The comments came after Hocevar\u2019s Chevrolet made heavy contact with Keselowski\u2019s No. 6 Ford on Lap 107 of the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. The contact sent Keselowski into the wall and caused a late Stage 1 caution.<\/p>\n Keselowski later said Hocevar\u2019s \u201cday is coming.\u201d<\/p>\n Hamlin summed up the incident by saying, \u201cCarson wrecked Brad,\u201d before shifting his focus to Spire Motorsports.<\/p>\n Denny Hamlin Explains his NASCAR Criticism<\/p>\n The Darlington weekend also included contact between Denny Hamlin and Spire Motorsports driver Michael McDowell. Hamlin\u2019s car suffered damage in the incident, affecting his race.<\/p>\n Hamlin also made it clear that he did not want to give Hocevar more attention.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re not going to get anything more from me because I\u2019m not going to give him what he wants,\u201d Hamlin said. \u201cI\u2019m not going to give him the clip that he wants.
