On Saturday, legendary women’s champion Amanda Serrano took to her TikTok to announce she will be having her final fight before permanent retirement from boxing in January 2027.

Perhaps spurred on by the tearful sentimentality and smashing commercial success of longtime rival Katie Taylor’s swansong fight in front of 80,000 fans against Flora Pili at Croke Park in Dublin the same day, Serrano, 50-4-1 (32 KOs), says she plans to do something similar with her legion of fans in her native Puerto Rico.

37-year-old “The Real Deal” Serrano is the current WBO Women’s featherweight champion, as well as a seven-weight world champion and the only Puerto Rican boxer, male or female, to be crowned an undisputed world champion (featherweight) in boxing’s four-belt era.

While Serrano notched her 50th career victory in her last fight, an uncharacteristically shaky majority decision over Lucrecia Anabella Manzur in August, she was unable to break the all-time women’s record for career knockouts (32), which she currently shares with hall-of-famer Christy Martin. Thus, Serrano’s final career fight will also be her last chance to break the record.

No word yet on an opponent for the final match.

On Saturday, legendary women’s champion Amanda Serrano took to her TikTok to announce she will be having her…

[447
11041,703,711,710,49,48,12541,8808,82
post-888914","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-boxing","tag-amanda-serrano","tag-boxing","tag-boxing-news","tag-boxingscene","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-christy-martin","tag-katie-taylor","tag-sports
["GET
