He had a heated courtside exchange with Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud before being ejected from the arena.Kanter later sued the Chicago Sky, claiming that the team violated his First Amendment rights. He has defended his behavior, saying he attended the game to support Cunningham and did not start the confrontation with Cloud.Lee, however, questioned Kanter\u2019s reasons for getting involved so strongly. Speaking on Curious Mike, he said:\u201cI always wonder what people’s intentions are. He just went through the process to become a citizen. Maybe he’s trying to kiss up to daddy Trump, because that’s Trump’s thing. But as someone who wanted to be recognized as a citizen in the United States, why do you want to be so disrespectfully divisive?\u201dLee said people are free to have their own views about transgender athletes in sports. His criticism was mainly about how Kanter has chosen to express those views.He added:\u201cWhen you start attacking the very people you act like you’re an ally to, you’re not aligned with their cause.\u201dLee then questioned why Kanter was not using his platform to support WNBA players financially or help promote the league.\u201cWhy are you not advocating for higher pay?
