Prepare for a slow down along Fraser Highway on Sept. 11.<\/p>\n
A single-lane, alternating traffic pattern change will affect all commuters, shoppers, school- and work-goers, travellers, and others along Fraser Highway west of 184th Street this Friday.<\/p>\n
The change is being implemented to assist construction of the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain. Work being done Sept. 11 will help construction of box-beam installation work at the future Hillcrest-184th Street Station.<\/p>\n
Traffic pattern changes that day will include: lane reductions on the approach to the intersection on 184th, single lane alternating traffic on Fraser Highway west of 184th Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., pedestrian access will be maintained on the east side of 184th Street between Fraser Highway and 70th Avenue.<\/p>\n
\u201cExpect delays in the area,\u201d notes a press release from the B.C. Government\u2019s Transportation Investment Corporation (TIC). \u201cPlease follow signs and traffic control personnel.\u201d<\/p>\n
TIC noted workers will start prep work around Hillcrest-184th Street Station at about 6:30 a.m., but no traffic pattern changes will be put in place until 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
