Skies are expected to be mostly sunny in the Greater Toronto Area on Thursday with wind gusts up to 70 km\/h possible in some parts of southern Ontario.<\/p>\n
Environment and Climate Change Canada says the morning will be mainly sunny in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and the Niagara Falls area, with a mix of sun and cloudy conditions in Oshawa, Pickering and Hamilton.<\/p>\n
A northwest wind will be blowing around 20 km\/h with gusts up to 40 km\/h in Toronto and Mississauga, and up to 50 km\/h in Oshawa. Gusts could reach 60 km\/h in Peterborough and 70 km\/h in Alexandria.<\/p>\n
The daytime high will be around 23 C in Mississauga, but could feel more like 26 C due to the humidity. The UV index will be 7 or \u201chigh,\u201d the weather agency says.<\/p>\n
Conditions are expected to be clear across the GTA and southern Ontario on Thursday evening. A northwest wind will be blowing around 20 km\/h in Toronto and 30 km\/h in Mississauga, becoming light in the evening hours.<\/p>\n
The overnight low will be around 13 C, the weather agency says.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead to Friday, skies are expected to be sunny in Mississauga with a high of 23 C that could feel more like 25 C due to the humidity, The Weather Network says. Friday evening will bring clear skies to the GTA and a low of around 12 C, Environment Canada says.<\/p>\n
Rainy weather could return on the weekend. Saturday will bring a high of 25 C, a mix of sun and clouds and a 40 per cent chance of showers in the evening. Sunday will also see mixed conditions with a 30 per cent chance of showers during the day and a high of 25 C.<\/p>\n
