\nWill King<\/a> cut a 2-0 second-half deficit in half, but it was sixth-ranked Indiana that got the next goal in a 3-1 Hoosiers win over the Pioneers on Monday night in Bloomington.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nFriday marks the first meeting between the two programs.<\/p>\n
\n\tDenver is 137-50-37 since the start of the 2015 season.
\n\tThat record is good for eighth in the country in wins during that span, behind Wake Forest (162), Indiana (158), Clemson (153), Georgetown (151), Stanford (146), Washington (139) and Vermont (138).
\n\tOf the 23 teams that had at least 110 wins in that span entering the year, Denver has the eighth-fewest losses at 50.
\n\tFour of Denver’s opponents are among the 23 that began the year with 100 wins since the start of the 2015 season.
\n\tWest Virginia ranks 21st in wins since the start of the 2015 season with 118 (65-33).

\n\tFreshman goalkeeper Alex Hohl<\/a> made 10 saves in Denver’s loss at Indiana on September 7.
\n\tHohl was the first DU keeper to stop 10+ shots in a game since Joe Willis made 10 saves in the 2010 NCAA First Round at UC Santa Barbara.

\n\tCareer Points: Fifth-year forward Bryce Willoughby<\/a> is tied with Karsten Hanlin for 11th in the program’s DI history in career points with 43 (16-11). Kyle McGowan<\/a> is 20th with 33 points (14-5).
\n\tCareer Goals: Bryce Willoughby<\/a> became the 10th player in the program’s DI history to reach 15 career goals when he scored the opener at Stanford on August 23. Willoughby added his 16th career goal in Denver’s 3-0 win over Tulsa on Sept. 4. Kyle McGowan<\/a> is in a tie for 11th in the program’s DI history with 14 career goals.
\n\tCareer Game-Winners: Bryce Willoughby<\/a> has seven career game-winning goals, tied for the fifth most in the program’s DI era.

\nDenver will have a 10 day layoff before returning home for its non-conference finale against Creighton. The September 22 home match is set for 6 p.m. MT, and will be broadcast on ESPN+.<\/p>\n
